Biography

Dr. Trivedi graduated cum laude from UCLA with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience in 1996. He completed his Doctor of Medicine at UCSD in 2003 and completed his Residency at UCLA-Olive View Medical Center in 2006. He was awarded best resident in teaching in 2005 and 2006. He served as Chief Resident and Clinical Instructor in Internal Medicine at UCLA-Olive View Hospital from 2007-2008. (2007) Program in the San Fernando Valley. He afterward completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at University of California, Irvine in 2010 and has been with Comprehensive GI Care since then.

Dr. Trivedi aims for a personalized approach to medicine and gastroenterology based on clinical experience, data and integrating complementary/natural approaches with western therapies. Although he is interested in all of gastroenterology and hepatology, he has a particular interest in esophageal reflux, gastrointestinal motility, pelvic floor dysfunction, gut microbiota and small intestinal bacterial overgrowth and IBS.

When not practicing medicine, Dr. Trivedi enjoys swimming, golfing, reading science fiction/fantasy novels (he's a bit of a nerd), and cooking.

He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology. He is Board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastoenterology.
